A one- to three-day training for technical writing teams

Technical writing teams that want to grow towards modular content and CCMS logic but have no combined training internally. Also useful as preparation for a CCMS adoption, or as an update for experienced writers who want to sharpen their methodology.
How we proceed
- Day 1 – FundamentalsModular content structures (DITA logic, topic types), the basics of content engineering, the maturity-level model, first exercises with topic splitting. Audience: the entire technical writing team.
- Day 2 – In depthMetadata modelling, reuse in practice, iiRDS as an industry standard, translation-memory integration. With concrete exercises from your use case. Audience: documentation management and senior writers.
- Day 3 – Tool-selection workshopA structured requirements analysis, an evaluation matrix, AI integration into modular pipelines, governance models. Audience: decision-makers with budget responsibility.

Can we book individual modules only?
Yes. Day 1, day 2 or day 3 can be booked individually, depending on the maturity level and the training needs of the team.
In-house or remote – which is better?
In-house has the advantage of concentrated work and better discussions. Remote is more flexible and is often the only option for distributed teams. Both formats are methodically mature.
What is included in the daily rate?
Preparation, the training day, all materials and travel costs within Germany. With remote training, the travel flat rate does not apply.
Are the trainings also suitable for beginners without a technical documentation background?
Day 1 yes, it is designed as an entry point. Days 2 and 3 assume basic knowledge of technical documentation methodology – anyone attending as a newcomer should bring day 1 or comparable prior knowledge beforehand.
